When Michelle and Kieron first reached out, they were looking for a smarter way to work — closer to home, without the daily commute or the ongoing cost of rented office space. After discovering us online, they decided that a bespoke garden office would give them the flexibility and independence they needed.

Their brief was simple: a natural, durable design that felt at home in their garden. We proposed a high-grade English Larch timber finish, chosen for its strength, warmth, and ability to weather beautifully over time — perfect for the changeable Durham climate.

Working within a set budget, we created a tailored design that met both their spatial and financial goals. To help visualise the concept, our team produced photorealistic renders, showing exactly how the building would sit within their garden setting.

Positioned just a short walk from the house — a “two-metre commute” — the finished office provides a quiet, fully insulated workspace that’s ideal for focus and productivity. The result is a functional, timeless garden office that enhances both their home and their lifestyle.
