We met this young couple at the Harrogate Homebuilding & Renovation Show, where they shared plans to transform a run-down bungalow they had recently purchased. Working from home was now part of their routine, and they wanted a dedicated garden office space they could share — a quiet, professional environment separate from their home life.

Their brief was clear: a low-maintenance, modern garden office with plenty of natural light and the flexibility to divide the space in future if needed. Our solution was to propose the Canopy Design — a sleek, cost-effective model that balances style, practicality, and budget.

The building features contemporary composite cladding for a refined exterior finish, complemented by a traditional uPVC fascia and soffit eaves detail to keep costs efficient. uPVC windows and doors were selected for durability and value, while the open-plan layout maximises usable space and natural light.

The result is a bright, functional workspace that provides the couple with a calm, productive environment for remote working — a smart addition that enhances both their lifestyle and their home’s value.
