Situated on a prominent corner plot, this extension was subject to planning requirements that it replicate the existing house finish precisely, ensuring the new addition blended seamlessly with the original property.

Constructed using a galvanised light gauge steel frame supported by engineered ground screw foundations, the project benefited from a controlled and efficient build programme with minimal disruption on site.

Specially manufactured brick slips were specified to achieve a near-identical match to the existing façade, allowing the extension to integrate visually with the home. Aluminium bifolding doors with integral blinds were also incorporated, providing both solar control and privacy while maintaining a clean, contemporary appearance.

Delivered in collaboration with independent architect Neil of Far North Studio, the project demonstrates how careful design coordination and engineered construction can achieve planning compliance without compromising on performance or finish.
