We can take note of all of your requirements and offer you a design to suit, you can choose your layout of, picture windows, Bi-folding or sliding doors, skylights or lanterns, our system is totally flexible so we are able to create your dream room.

If your conservatory is in need of replacement then what are the alternative solutions;

You could replace it with a new conservatory, the downsides to this are that you may still end up with a room that is not thermally efficient and you will be restricted with how it will look in terms of design and style. Another option would be to knock it down and build a garden room with traditional block & brick. The downsides to this is that its a long, messy and disruptive way of creating a little space, these issues aren’t as bad if your building a large extension, but if its a small 3m x 3m conservatory then it may be a frustrating process, along with trying to find the right builder to build it.

We at DB-Space make the whole solution easy for you, at the initial survey, we take note of all of your requirements and show you examples of exterior finishes. We then provide you with a simple layout plan. Once you are happy with this we will then provide you with a photo realistic render of how your new room will look in its proposed location. We take care of any planning permission if necessary, we can advise on this at the initial survey. Most installs can start within 10 weeks from the order. We aim to install your new garden room within 5-10 days depending on size and design. Our system is fully building compliment and come with a 10 year insurance backed guarantee.

Do we need planning permission to change our conservatory to a garden room?

In most cases, we can build your garden room extension under permitted development, in cases where this is not possible and planning is needed, we can take care of this process for you through our preferred RIBA Chartered Architect FNS.

Can you us the exiting base of the conservatory?

In some cases, yes. This will depend on the depth and quality of the existing base and foundations.

Can we remove the exterior doors that are separating the main property and the new garden room?

Yes, you can. The garden rooms we build are fully building compliant, and meet the current legislation U-values.

Will I be able to use my garden room all year round?

Yes, comfortably. We insulate the walls to a U-Value of 0.18 and the roof to a U-Value 0.15. All glazing is Planitherm Low E which provides exceptional thermal efficiency.

What are the choices of external finish?

We have a wide range of composite cladding, render, brick slips and many more to choose from.

What are your lead times?

We usually work off around a 8-10 week lead time from the initial order.

Is the garden room guaranteed?

We provide a 10 year insurance backed guarantee with any garden room.

Do you offer finance?

We do. We are offering a fixed home improvement loan of 9.9% of up to 10 year term times. The maximum amount you can borrow would be £15,000, any remaining balance would need to be paid at the time of order.
